Our Story
Nowadays, scientific concepts and discoveries that once sounded incredibly new and exciting have become obscure, convoluted, and abstract as the scientist’s work went down the funnel of peer-review, strategic editing, and rewording.
Simpli-Sci (formerly Caped Clinicians) was formed to spread the effect of comic-style scientific literature and do away with the jargon that prevents people from understanding scientific literature. By presenting publications and scientific findings through non-traditional means, such as through comics, graphics, and short videos, we aim to close the gap of understanding between researchers and other consumers of scientific literature.
Through our newsletters and scientific breakdowns, Simpli-Sci hopes to redefine the conception that only experts can appreciate scientific findings. Our everyday lives revolve around scientific processes, so we believe that everyone should be able to understand new developments in the scientific world.
